About the role.
We are seeking a skilled DeltaV Automation Engineer to join our client's team in Hyderabad. This role focuses on the design, commissioning, and validation of advanced automation systems within highly regulated environments. You will work independently on critical customer projects, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with industry standards.
What you will do.
- Design and configure complex Control Modules, Equipment Modules, Phase Classes, and Recipes within the DeltaV environment.
- Execute full-cycle commissioning and validation activities, including IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols.
- Perform loop testing, field instrumentation troubleshooting, and FAT/SAT activities to ensure system reliability.
- Ensure all automation solutions strictly adhere to GxP, GAMP 5, and 21 CFR Part 11 regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate directly with customers to define project requirements and deliver high-quality technical outputs.
- Integrate DeltaV systems with MES interfaces and manage SIS configurations for enhanced plant safety.
- Provide technical support for system upgrades and operational efficiency improvements at customer sites.
What you bring.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Computer Engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in DeltaV and DCS automation.
- Proficiency in DeltaV v15/v16 and experience working with PK Controllers.
- Strong understanding of ISA S-88 and ISA S-95 standards.
- Proven track record in managing automation design and validation in regulated industries.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Willingness to work at customer sites as required by project demands.
