About the role.
The Purchase Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities to ensure seamless manufacturing operations. This role involves strategic vendor management, cost-effective negotiations, and maintaining strict compliance with regulatory standards. You will play a critical role in optimizing the supply chain process within a fast-paced industrial setting.
What you will do.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials and industrial supplies.
- Execute vendor selection, evaluation, and performance management to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Conduct effective negotiations with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable payment terms.
- Handle purchase order processing and ensure accuracy in documentation.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with GST regulations and internal financial policies.
- Manage invoicing processes and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
- Maintain accurate records and data within the ERP system.
- Collaborate with internal departments to forecast material requirements and maintain optimal inventory levels.
What you bring.
- 4–8 years of experience in procurement or purchase roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong proficiency in vendor management and negotiation techniques.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems for procurement operations.
- Solid understanding of GST, invoicing, and statutory compliance.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Proven ability to manage purchase orders and supply chain documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationships.
