About the role.
The SAP Bolt-On Application Developer will design, develop, and maintain custom applications that extend the functionality of SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments. You will collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to build scalable, user-friendly solutions that integrate seamlessly with core business processes. This role is ideal for a technical professional looking to work on complex, high-visibility projects within a dynamic consulting environment.
What you will do.
- Design and develop custom bolt-on applications integrated with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA systems.
- Translate complex business requirements into robust technical designs and functional solutions.
- Build and maintain custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows using ABAP and ABAP Objects.
- Develop modern user interfaces using SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 to enhance user experience.
- Implement OData services and integrate applications via BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and REST APIs.
- Perform comprehensive testing including unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot performance issues, and conduct root-cause analysis for recurring defects.
- Ensure all custom developments adhere to SAP security, compliance, and audit standards.
What you bring.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 to 8 years of professional experience in SAP custom or bolt-on application development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP, ABAP Objects, and enhancement techniques.
- Proven experience with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, OData services, and SAP Gateway.
- Solid understanding of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA architecture and data structures.
- Experience with integration technologies including BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and API development.
- Familiarity with SAP BTP, CDS Views, AMDP, and RAP is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, Git, and CI/CD pipelines is a significant advantage.
