About the role.
We are seeking a Business Data Analyst with deep expertise in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure data integrity and project success. You will be responsible for translating complex business needs into actionable technical documentation and managing end-to-end data lineage.
What you will do.
- Lead business requirement gathering sessions to translate complex needs into actionable documentation.
- Develop comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).
- Create detailed Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents.
- Manage end-to-end data lineage throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate data mapping and database implementation.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment through clear communication and technical troubleshooting.
- Ensure data integrity and clarity across all project deliverables.
What you bring.
- 4–9 years of professional experience in data analysis.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance sector.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins and window functions.
- Proficiency in database management commands such as DELETE, TRUNCATE, and DROP.
- Experience working with Snowflake or traditional relational databases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex data discrepancies.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of 30-45 days are highly preferred.
