About the role.
This role is based in Powai and involves partnering with global investment banking teams to provide critical management reporting and financial analysis. You will work closely with regional stakeholders and senior leadership to support business strategy, revenue tracking, and budget preparation. The position requires a highly analytical professional capable of managing complex data sets and delivering high-quality insights under tight deadlines.
What you will do.
- Publish comprehensive management reports for global business heads, CEOs, and CAOs, including detailed analysis of daily, MTD, and YTD P&L.
- Deliver ad hoc financial requests within stringent timelines while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Collaborate with the CAO team to assist in accounting and tracking investment banking revenue and pipeline details.
- Analyze revenue trends to provide actionable insights for senior management and support the budget preparation process.
- Perform UAT testing and provide sign-offs on new developments within BusinessObjects.
- Develop and design Webi Rich Client reports and dashboards while managing year-end rollovers.
- Utilize Advanced Excel, Power Query, and PowerPoint to create high-impact reporting and presentations.
- Present and explain complex financial workings clearly to a diverse audience of stakeholders.
What you bring.
- 5 to 11 years of relevant experience in financial management and reporting.
- Strong proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects 4.3 Web Intelligence.
- Advanced technical skills in Excel, Power Query, Power BI, VBA Macros, and SQL.
- Solid understanding of financial management, budgeting procedures, and investment banking products.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex data effectively.
- Proven ability to make informed decisions and assumptions under time pressure.
- Strong project management skills including planning, coordination, and execution.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-starter attitude and high attention to detail.
