About the role.
This role is based in Powai and involves partnering with global investment banking teams to provide critical business advisory and management reporting support. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to analyze financial performance, track revenue trends, and deliver strategic insights that drive decision-making. This is an onsite position requiring a blend of technical reporting expertise and financial acumen.
What you will do.
- Publish management reports for global business heads and senior leadership, including detailed analysis of daily, MTD, and YTD P&L.
- Deliver ad hoc reporting requests within stringent timelines while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Collaborate with regional teams to assist in the accounting and tracking of revenue and pipeline details.
- Analyze revenue trends to prepare comprehensive reports that support budget preparation and strategic planning.
- Perform UAT testing and provide sign-offs on new developments within BusinessObjects.
- Design and maintain Webi Rich Client reports and dashboards, including managing year-end rollovers.
- Utilize Advanced Excel, Power Query, and PowerPoint to create high-quality presentations for senior management.
- Present complex financial data and workings clearly to a diverse global audience.
What you bring.
- 5 to 11 years of relevant experience in financial management or business advisory roles.
- Strong proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects 4.3 and Webi Rich Client.
- Advanced expertise in Excel (including Power Query and VBA macros) and PowerPoint.
- Solid understanding of financial management, budget procedures, and reporting.
- Proven experience in SQL and data analysis.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Prior experience in strategy-focused roles within the financial services sector.
