About the role.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms and analytics solutions. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data pipelines and high-performance models. What you will do.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
- Build and manage robust data transformation frameworks using dbt.
- Develop high-performance data models and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale datasets.
- Implement efficient data ingestion and integration processes from multiple sources.
- Leverage AWS services to architect and maintain cloud-native data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance across all data platforms.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production data pipelines to ensure maximum reliability and performance.
- Mentor junior team members and lead architectural discussions and code reviews.
What you bring.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering and analytics.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and dbt.
- Extensive experience with AWS services including S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and Athena.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD practices and workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
- Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with business stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- AWS Certification at the Associate or Professional level is highly preferred.
