About the role.
This role serves as a key technical lead for Master Data Governance, focusing on the vendor domain within a large-scale SAP S/4HANA environment. You will guide data councils and project teams to transition legacy structures into a leaner, more efficient model, ensuring data integrity across multiple ERP solutions. This is a strategic position that balances technical architecture with business process optimization.
What you will do.
- Support the development and implementation of SAP MDG solutions as part of a major S/4HANA ERP rollout.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data standards, gather requirements, and ensure high data quality.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the MDG team and vendor data council to ensure successful project execution.
- Design and configure MDG processes to align with evolving business needs and technical requirements.
- Manage and coordinate with partner resources to deliver consistent and accurate data across the enterprise.
- Act as a subject matter expert for vendor data, offering insights to optimize data management processes.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with data management to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of MDM solutions, implementing improvements to enhance system efficiency.
What you bring.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Master Data Management or Data Architecture within complex, multi-national environments.
- Proven expertise in SAP MDG, SAP Finance, and SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong background in Vendor Data Management and business process modeling.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within a matrix organization, including managing direct or indirect reports.
- Experience in BI, data analytics, solutions architecture, and applications portfolio management.
- Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills with the ability to influence global leaders.
- SAP certification is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on data accuracy and consistency.
