About the role.
The Regulatory Reporting Analyst will be responsible for the preparation, validation, and submission of critical regulatory reports in alignment with local and international frameworks. This role involves ensuring data integrity, managing complex risk calculations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance. You will play a key part in optimizing reporting processes and supporting audit requirements within a dynamic financial environment.
What you will do.
- Prepare and submit accurate regulatory reports including RWA calculations, leverage exposure, and unfunded exposure.
- Ensure strict compliance with evolving regulatory guidelines and meet all reporting deadlines.
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across various financial and risk systems.
- Perform detailed reconciliations between financial, risk, and regulatory data sets to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Analyze report outputs to investigate variances and maintain robust internal controls.
- Coordinate effectively with Finance, Risk, Treasury, and IT departments regarding regulatory impacts.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and support the implementation of reporting tools.
- Provide comprehensive support for internal and external audit processes.
What you bring.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of professional experience in Regulatory Reporting, Risk, or Finance.
- Strong understanding of Basel regulations and RWA calculation methodologies.
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced) and SQL or similar data management tools.
- Knowledge of Treasury, Liquidity, and core Risk concepts.
- Experience with Basel III frameworks, ALM, liquidity reporting, CCR, or market risk.
- Familiarity with industry-standard reporting tools such as Axiom, Moody’s, or SAS.
- Professional certification such as CA, CFA, or FRM is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
