About the role.
The Taxation Manager will oversee all direct and indirect tax compliance, planning, and reporting functions for the organization. This role is critical in ensuring the company adheres to statutory regulations while optimizing tax efficiency. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to manage tax audits, filings, and strategic financial initiatives.
What you will do.
- Manage end-to-end direct and indirect tax compliance including GST, TDS, and Income Tax filings.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of all statutory tax returns and reports.
- Coordinate with external consultants and tax authorities for assessments, audits, and litigation support.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise management on potential impacts to the business.
- Oversee tax accounting processes and ensure accurate reconciliation of tax ledgers.
- Provide strategic inputs for tax planning to optimize the company's tax liability.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all tax-related transactions and filings.
What you bring.
- Professional qualification such as CA or equivalent degree in Finance or Taxation.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in corporate taxation within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of GST, Income Tax Act, and other relevant fiscal regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax laws.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel for financial reporting.
- Excellent communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to work effectively in a full-time office environment in Navi Mumbai.
