About the role.
We are seeking a dedicated Planning Engineer to join our team in Gurugram to oversee the scheduling and delivery of complex port and marine infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for developing detailed project schedules, monitoring progress against baselines, and ensuring the timely execution of large-scale maritime construction. This role requires a proactive approach to risk management and close coordination with cross-functional site teams.
What you will do.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for port and marine infrastructure projects.
- Monitor project progress against the baseline to identify potential delays and implement corrective action plans.
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports including S-curves, histograms, and resource loading charts for management review.
- Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure alignment on project milestones and deliverables.
- Conduct critical path analysis and risk assessment to mitigate potential schedule slippages.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and contracts to ensure schedule accuracy.
- Manage large-scale EPC project timelines from inception through to completion.
What you bring.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within the marine, port, or heavy civil infrastructure sector.
- Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Strong understanding of marine construction methodologies, dredging, and jetty construction sequences.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale EPC projects.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Experience with BIM integration and Power BI for data visualization is a plus.
