About the role.

The Plant Head will be responsible for overseeing all manufacturing operations at the Dahej facility. This role involves driving production efficiency, ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards, and managing the entire plant workforce. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing processes and achieving organizational production targets.

What you will do.

  • Lead and manage all aspects of plant operations including production, maintenance, and quality control.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations at the facility.
  • Manage the plant budget, resource allocation, and capital expenditure projects.
  • Oversee supply chain and inventory management to ensure seamless production cycles.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, safety, and employee engagement across all departments.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and report on plant productivity to senior leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.

What you bring.

  • 20–25 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably within the packaging or heavy engineering industry.
  • Proven track record in plant management and leading large-scale industrial operations.
  • Strong understanding of production planning, quality management systems, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; an MBA is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
