About the role.
The Maintenance Officer will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of plant machinery and utility equipment at our Dahej facility. This role focuses on executing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. You will play a critical role in maintaining high safety and efficiency standards within the production environment.
What you will do.
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all plant machinery.
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Maintain and service critical equipment including pumps, compressors, and gearboxes.
- Manage the upkeep of bearings, couplings, and mechanical seals to ensure operational reliability.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures to prevent recurrence.
- Oversee the maintenance of utility equipment to support uninterrupted production.
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and logs in compliance with company standards.
- Utilize SAP for maintenance planning, spare parts management, and work order tracking.
What you bring.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance.
- Strong technical expertise in mechanical troubleshooting and system repairs.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, and compressors.
- Proficiency in maintaining gearboxes, bearings, and mechanical seals.
- Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Working knowledge of SAP for maintenance management.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office for reporting and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a full-time, on-site environment in Dahej.
