About the role.
This role serves as a critical bridge between global stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring seamless project execution. You will be responsible for translating complex business needs into actionable technical specifications while leveraging your bilingual proficiency to facilitate communication across cross-cultural teams. This position is based in Mumbai and operates on a hybrid work model.
What you will do.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Japanese-speaking clients to gather, document, and analyze business requirements
- Facilitate effective communication between offshore development teams and Japanese stakeholders to ensure project alignment
- Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process maps to guide the software development lifecycle
- Manage project documentation and ensure all deliverables meet high-quality standards
- Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and vice versa
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly
What you bring.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an IT services environment
- Native or JLPT N4/N3 level proficiency in Japanese and professional proficiency in English
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Proficiency in requirement gathering tools and technical documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP) or Agile methodologies (CSM) is highly desirable
- Familiarity with technical architecture concepts
