About the role.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Management Accountant to join the finance team and provide critical financial insights to support strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive management reports, analyzing budget variances, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data to drive operational efficiency in a hybrid work environment based in Pune.
What you will do.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial statements.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis to explain discrepancies between actual performance and budgets.
- Manage the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with department heads.
- Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and oversee cost accounting activities.
- Provide actionable financial insights to senior management to support business growth.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and statutory reporting requirements.
What you bring.
- 5–10 years of proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar financial role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as CA, ICWA, or ACCA is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and ERP systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills to present financial findings to non-finance stakeholders.
