About the role.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Associate BI Reporting Engineer to join a dynamic data analytics team in Pune. In this hybrid role, you will transform raw data into actionable insights by designing, developing, and maintaining high-impact dashboards and automated reports. You will play a critical role in supporting business decision-making through precise data visualization and technical reporting solutions.
What you will do.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards using Power BI or Tableau to visualize complex datasets.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various relational databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and consistency across all reporting outputs.
- Maintain and update existing report templates to reflect evolving business needs and data structures.
- Translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
What you bring.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 4–7 years of professional experience in business intelligence or data reporting roles.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and patterns in data.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms like Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, or Google BigQuery is a plus.
- Understanding of DAX or MDX for advanced report calculations is highly desirable.
