About the role.
This role involves designing and maintaining robust data pipelines within a modern Lakehouse architecture. You will work on complex data engineering projects, translating legacy logic into scalable code and ensuring high-quality data delivery for business intelligence and analytics. The position is based in Bangalore and operates on a hybrid work model.
What you will do.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks and PySpark.
- Translate rule-based and visual-workflow logic into efficient, automated code.
- Implement data modeling and schema remodeling for Lakehouse architectures using Delta Lake.
- Develop automated data validation and reconciliation processes between legacy and migrated systems.
- Manage Databricks workflows, job orchestration, and Unity Catalog configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support DW/BI and data science initiatives.
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure CI/CD best practices for data pipelines.
What you bring.
- 5–8 years of professional experience in data engineering or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in Azure Databricks, SQL, Python, and PySpark.
- Solid understanding of DW/BI concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Experience with GitHub and Agile development methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Excellent analytical, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid, fast-paced environment.
