About the role.
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate and support Agile teams in delivering high-quality, iterative results. In this hybrid role based in Bangalore, you will act as a bridge between the team and external stakeholders, optimize flow, remove obstacles, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will lead collaborative assignments, guide team members, and advise on operational effectiveness to impact the broader business function.
What you will do.
- Facilitate Agile events and ensure they are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox
- Support iteration execution by maintaining artifact quality, backlog refinement, and continuous customer value delivery
- Identify and facilitate the removal of conflicts impacting team flow while utilizing metrics to make all work visible
- Mitigate risks, remove impediments, and shield the squad from interruptions
- Foster and coach Agile team attributes, continuous improvement, and high-performing team dynamics
- Manage stakeholder collaboration effectively across business stakeholders, product teams, and vendors
- Ensure data quality and provide representation at required governance forums
- Coach employees, set objectives, appraise performance, and drive operational effectiveness
What you bring.
- 8 to 15 years of relevant experience in Agile project management and Scrum mastering
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, iterative development, and Agile mindsets
- Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong facilitation skills to run effective ceremonies and guide teams toward greater efficiency
- Proven experience in problem solving, conflict resolution, and removing blockers
- Familiarity with metrics such as velocity, cycle time, and predictability for data-driven reporting
- SAFe Agile certification and prior experience in the banking and financial services industry are highly valued
