About the role.
This role sits within a strategic data group focused on building and scaling robust data platforms. You will contribute to the development of an enterprise-grade data ecosystem, aligning with modern data mesh strategies to drive actionable insights. What you will do.
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines and platforms using modern engineering practices.
- Collaborate with internal business groups to define requirements and implement effective data solutions.
- Establish and monitor technical best practices for development methodologies and tools.
- Analyze complex business requirements to provide innovative and creative technology recommendations.
- Contribute to project planning, feasibility analysis, and estimation of development timelines.
- Integrate AI technologies into existing data workflows to enhance platform capabilities.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of enterprise data systems.
What you bring.
- 7–10 years of professional experience in software and data engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in Snowflake, Airflow, and DBT.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Solid understanding of database fundamentals and data architecture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale data platforms.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and their practical applications.
- Knowledge of Java is considered a strong advantage.
