About the role.
We are seeking an experienced Procurement & SCM Lead to join a Project Management Office (PMO) in Ahmedabad. This pivotal role involves establishing and optimizing procurement and supply chain processes across various projects, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The successful candidate will drive strategic sourcing initiatives, manage critical vendor relationships, and contribute significantly to project delivery.
What you will do.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies within the PMO framework
- Lead vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management processes
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations for multiple projects
- Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand material and service requirements
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
What you bring.
- 10+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain management in a project-based environment
- Proven track record of managing complex vendor relationships and negotiations
- Strong understanding of contract law and procurement best practices
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
- BE/B. Tech degree
