About the role.
The Head of Quality Assurance will lead the entire quality function at the manufacturing facility in Boisar. This role is responsible for ensuring all products meet stringent quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal benchmarks. You will oversee the quality team, manage laboratory operations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the production lifecycle.
What you will do.
- Lead and mentor the quality assurance and quality control teams to ensure high performance and compliance.
- Oversee all laboratory operations and testing protocols for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and quality regulatory standards relevant to the chemical industry.
- Develop and implement robust quality management systems and standard operating procedures.
- Manage internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation and processes are audit-ready at all times.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of non-conformities, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues and improve overall process efficiency.
- Drive a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing site.
What you bring.
- 15–17 years of professional experience in quality assurance within the chemical manufacturing industry.
- Proven leadership experience in managing large teams and complex quality operations.
- In-depth knowledge of chemical testing methodologies, instrumentation, and quality management systems.
- Strong understanding of national and international regulatory standards for chemical products.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a Work From Office environment based in Boisar.
- Strong communication skills to interface with cross-functional departments and regulatory bodies.
