About the role.
As a Test Manager at the Vice President level, you will lead large-scale testing strategies and drive the delivery of high-quality software solutions within a complex banking environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing roadmaps, implement advanced automation frameworks, and ensure seamless integration across the SDLC. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our client's digital capabilities while maintaining rigorous standards for risk, governance, and performance.
What you will do.
- Lead and mentor mid-to-large scale testing teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Define and execute comprehensive test strategies across all phases of the SDLC, including ST, SIT, E2E, UAT, and NFT.
- Design and implement robust test automation frameworks from the ground up using Selenium, Java, and Cucumber.
- Drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines to optimize testing efficiency and reduce overall lead time.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, providing strategic guidance on functional and cross-functional impacts.
- Oversee risk management and control governance to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with product managers and technology partners to align testing efforts with business objectives.
- Champion the integration of AI-driven testing capabilities to enhance software reliability and performance.
What you bring.
- 15–20 years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Extensive experience in building and managing test automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, and Cucumber.
- Deep expertise in the Banking and Finance domain, specifically within Accounting (DDA) and the payment landscape.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale test programs and managing complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong proficiency in Cloud Platforms and modern DevOps CI/CD practices.
- Expertise in test management tools such as JIRA, Agile Central, or HP ALM.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on developing talent and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
