About the role.
The Purchase Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities to ensure the seamless availability of materials. This role involves strategic vendor management, inventory coordination, and leveraging SAP S/4 HANA to optimize supply chain workflows. You will play a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting the company's production goals.
What you will do.
- Execute procurement activities in alignment with Material Requirement Planning (MRP) schedules.
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
- Perform rigorous negotiation with suppliers to achieve cost-effective procurement solutions.
- Utilize SAP S/4 HANA for processing purchase orders and maintaining accurate procurement records.
- Coordinate inventory levels to prevent stockouts and optimize storage efficiency.
- Prepare and analyze MIS reports to track procurement performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee the procurement process for corporate gifting requirements.
- Manage export-related documentation and logistics coordination as required.
What you bring.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement and vendor management within a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
- Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and inventory control principles.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience in preparing MIS reports and data analysis.
- Ability to work effectively in a Work From Office environment in Mumbai.
- Knowledge of export processes and corporate procurement standards.
