About the role.
We are seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to design, implement, and evolve enterprise-scale data and analytics platforms. You will provide technical leadership for platform architecture, ensuring that all solutions are secure, resilient, and highly scalable. This role involves working closely with internal engineering teams to maintain operational excellence and drive long-term platform sustainability.
What you will do.
- Design and implement enterprise-scale data and analytics platforms using Azure and Databricks.
- Provide technical leadership for Databricks platform architecture, including workspace design and cluster strategy.
- Ensure platform resilience and performance through proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
- Implement platform governance and security controls, including RBAC, Entra ID integration, and network isolation.
- Manage CI/CD integration and environment management to support business demand.
- Conduct performance tuning, incident management, and root cause analysis across all environments.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues and establish operational standards.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture and regulatory standards.
What you bring.
- 5-8 years of professional experience in platform engineering or related roles.
- Deep expertise in Azure Databricks and ADLS Gen2.
- Strong knowledge of Azure networking and cloud security patterns.
- Proven experience with identity management and access control systems.
- Proficiency in CI/CD integration and platform automation.
- Ability to lead architectural design and provide technical stewardship.
- Strong analytical skills for performance tuning and root cause analysis.
