About the role.
We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to design, implement, and evolve enterprise-scale data and analytics platforms. You will provide technical leadership for Databricks and Azure environments, ensuring that our infrastructure remains secure, resilient, and highly performant to meet complex business demands.
What you will do.
- Design and evolve enterprise-scale data and analytics platforms using Azure and Databricks.
- Provide technical leadership for platform architecture, including workspace design and cluster strategy.
- Implement robust security controls, including Entra ID integration, RBAC, and network isolation.
- Ensure platform resilience through proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
- Manage CI/CD integration and environment management to support engineering best practices.
- Conduct performance tuning and root cause analysis across development, test, and production environments.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues and establish operational standards.
- Ensure full compliance with enterprise architecture and regulatory data protection standards.
What you bring.
- 5-8 years of professional experience in platform engineering or cloud infrastructure roles.
- Deep expertise in Azure Databricks and ADLS Gen2.
- Strong proficiency in Azure networking, identity management, and cloud security patterns.
- Proven experience in implementing platform governance and security controls.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on operational excellence and system reliability.
