About the role.

The Research Model Validation Associate will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial models used for decision-making. This position involves rigorous quantitative analysis and the application of advanced statistical techniques to validate research outputs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of model performance and risk management.

What you will do.

  • Perform comprehensive validation of quantitative research models to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Conduct in-depth corporate credit analysis and corporate valuation to support model integrity
  • Utilize Python, R, and VBA to automate validation processes and enhance analytical efficiency
  • Apply AI and machine learning techniques to identify patterns and improve model predictive capabilities
  • Execute detailed market research and economic research to inform model assumptions
  • Perform complex convertible bond valuation and sensitivity analysis
  • Document validation findings and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure compliance with internal model risk policies

What you bring.

  • 3–5 years of experience in quantitative analysis or model validation within the financial services sector
  • Strong proficiency in Python, R, and VBA for data analysis and modeling
  • Solid understanding of corporate valuation, credit analysis, and convertible bond pricing
  • Hands-on experience with AI and machine learning techniques
  • CFA designation or progress toward certification is highly preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment based in Mumbai
  • Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
