About the role.
We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to manage and automate on-premises enterprise application runtime environments. You will bridge traditional systems administration with modern DevOps practices by building automation workflows, managing middleware clusters, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to ensure high availability and performance.
What you will do.
- Install, configure, cluster, and maintain enterprise middleware environments including Oracle WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, and Red Hat JBoss/WildFly.
- Perform advanced JVM tuning, thread and heap dump analysis, and comprehensive SSL/TLS certificate management.
- Design and maintain reusable Ansible playbooks for infrastructure provisioning and middleware orchestration.
- Build and support enterprise Jenkins pipelines to facilitate automated builds and multi-tier deployments.
- Develop and enhance automation scripts using Bash and Python for system maintenance, log rotation, and data backups.
- Execute zero-downtime application deployments and manage patch upgrades across development, staging, and production environments.
- Provide Tier 3 operational support to troubleshoot infrastructure outages, network connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks.
What you bring.
- 7–10 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, systems administration, or middleware management.
- Deep technical proficiency in administrative tasks, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for Oracle WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, and Red Hat JBoss.
- Strong hands-on experience using Ansible for server provisioning and configuration management.
- Proven experience creating and managing Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
- Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting for system-level task automation.
- Solid experience working with enterprise Linux environments, including storage and local network setups.
- Strong understanding of Git for version control and collaborative infrastructure management.
