About the role.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Modeler to join our team in a full-time, office-based capacity. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining complex enterprise data models while driving critical data migration initiatives within the banking domain. This role is essential for ensuring the integrity, scalability, and performance of our data architecture.
What you will do.
- Design and maintain comprehensive conceptual, logical, and physical data models for banking applications.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable and efficient enterprise data architectures.
- Lead and execute large-scale data migration initiatives, specifically focusing on Oracle to Netezza transitions.
- Ensure strict adherence to data quality, governance, and banking compliance standards.
- Support enterprise-wide data integration and data warehousing programs.
- Optimize database performance and schema design to meet high-volume processing needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business objectives.
What you bring.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in data modeling and database architecture.
- Deep expertise in the Banking and Financial Services (BFSI) domain.
- Advanced proficiency in Oracle Database, schema design, and complex SQL.
- Proven experience with Data Warehousing, ETL processes, and MPP architecture.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale data migration projects.
- Strong understanding of data governance and regulatory compliance in finance.
- Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
