About the role.
The Control and Oversight role is a critical function focused on ensuring operational integrity and regulatory compliance within the firm's financial activities. You will be responsible for monitoring internal processes, identifying potential risks, and implementing effective control frameworks. What you will do.
- Perform regular monitoring and oversight of operational processes to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify, document, and report control gaps or process inefficiencies to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement remediation plans and process improvements.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments and control testing to validate the effectiveness of existing frameworks.
- Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for all control activities.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports regarding control performance and risk status.
- Stay updated on evolving regulatory guidelines and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
What you bring.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operational risk, internal audit, or control functions within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of financial products and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify risks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model based in Mumbai.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
