About the role.

We are seeking a highly skilled HPC Cloud Engineer to join our client's team in a hybrid capacity. You will be responsible for architecting and optimizing high-performance computing environments within cloud infrastructure to support complex simulations and data-intensive workloads. This role is critical in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our client's computational platforms.

What you will do.

  • Design and maintain scalable high-performance computing (HPC) architectures on cloud platforms.
  • Develop and optimize automated workflows using Python to support large-scale computational tasks.
  • Implement and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure seamless deployment.
  • Execute and refine Monte Carlo simulations to support data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize cloud resource utilization.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of cloud-based HPC infrastructure.
  • Maintain documentation for system architecture, deployment processes, and operational procedures.

What you bring.

  • 9–13 years of professional experience in cloud engineering or high-performance computing.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python programming.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Strong expertise in containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proven experience in designing and executing Monte Carlo simulations.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
  • Must be able to join within 30 days or less.
