About the role.
We are seeking a highly skilled HPC Cloud Engineer to join our client's team in a hybrid capacity. You will be responsible for architecting and optimizing high-performance computing environments within cloud infrastructure to support complex simulations and data-intensive workloads. This role is critical in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our client's computational platforms.
What you will do.
- Design and maintain scalable high-performance computing (HPC) architectures on cloud platforms.
- Develop and optimize automated workflows using Python to support large-scale computational tasks.
- Implement and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure seamless deployment.
- Execute and refine Monte Carlo simulations to support data-driven decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize cloud resource utilization.
- Ensure the security and compliance of cloud-based HPC infrastructure.
- Maintain documentation for system architecture, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
What you bring.
- 9–13 years of professional experience in cloud engineering or high-performance computing.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python programming.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Strong expertise in containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proven experience in designing and executing Monte Carlo simulations.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
- Must be able to join within 30 days or less.
