About the role.

We are seeking a Junior Data Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on building and maintaining robust data pipelines. This role involves working with modern cloud-based data warehousing technologies to transform raw data into actionable insights for business stakeholders.

What you will do.

• Develop and maintain efficient ETL/ELT data pipelines to support business operations.
• Build and optimize data ingestion frameworks from diverse source systems.
• Create complex data transformation logic using SQL and Snowflake.
• Develop and maintain Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, and views.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure high data quality standards.
• Collaborate with data architects and analysts to prepare analytics-ready datasets.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workloads to ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and adhere to best practices in coding and documentation.

What you bring.

• 2–4 years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Snowflake development.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT development and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with data integration tools such as Airflow, DBT, or Azure Data Factory.
• Understanding of data modeling fundamentals and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
