About the role.
As a Resilience Recovery Engineer, you will design, engineer, and test advanced technologies to enable cyber recovery capabilities. You will work within an engineering lab environment to prototype solutions, translate business requirements into scalable infrastructure, and lead transformation initiatives. This role requires a subject matter expert to drive automation and mentor teams on modern DevOps and infrastructure best practices.
What you will do.
- Develop and maintain high-quality infrastructure solutions that ensure reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Monitor IT infrastructure and system performance to proactively identify and resolve vulnerabilities or outages.
- Drive automation initiatives by developing scripts and processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Implement secure configurations to protect hardware, software, and data against cyber threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects and product managers, to define infrastructure requirements.
- Provide subject matter expertise for complex recovery scenarios and lead technical transformation.
- Mentor team members on modern DevOps practices and infrastructure engineering standards.
- Manage risks through assessment and contribute to the organization's control and governance agenda.
What you bring.
- 13–20 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in Windows or Linux operating systems.
- Proven ability to diagnose Windows or Linux kernel-level bugs and issues.
- Deep knowledge of Windows or Linux storage IO subsystems.
- Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) development using Python.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Chef.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Strong background in backup and recovery strategies for enterprise environments.
