About the role.
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Informatica CDC & Data Replication Specialist to join our data engineering team. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise data integration solutions, focusing on the design, installation, and optimization of high-volume data replication for complex database environments. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge data architectures in a hybrid work environment.
What you will do.
- Design, install, configure, and maintain Informatica CDC and data replication infrastructure from the ground up.
- Monitor and tune CDC, ETL, and replication environments to ensure maximum performance, reliability, and minimal latency.
- Develop scalable ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, and modern orchestration tools like Databricks, ADF, and Python.
- Collaborate with database administrators and architects to resolve replication failures, synchronization issues, and production incidents.
- Automate deployment and monitoring processes using SQL, PL/SQL, and Shell scripting.
- Mentor junior team members and ensure adherence to data governance and security standards.
What you bring.
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in software development, ETL, and database programming.
- Deep expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, and Change Data Capture (CDC) methodologies.
- Proven experience in installing and troubleshooting Informatica CDC/FDA solutions.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, and Shell scripting within Linux/Unix/AIX environments.
- Experience with replication technologies such as Oracle GoldenGate, SharePlex, Qlik Replicate, or IBM InfoSphere CDC.
- Strong background in high-volume OLTP database architecture and performance tuning.
- Full-time B.E., B.Tech, MCA, M.E., M.Tech, MBA, or PGDM degree with no extension of course duration due to backlogs.
