About the role.
The Senior Business Analyst will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver robust software products. You will lead the end-to-end requirements lifecycle, from initial discovery and workflow mapping to supporting development and user testing. This role is critical in shaping the target operating model and ensuring technical solutions align with complex business needs.
What you will do.
- Lead business and functional requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for technical products.
- Facilitate workshops to derive consensus on target operating models and business policies.
- Create detailed documentation including user stories, acceptance criteria, data mapping, and UI wireframes.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to articulate business needs and project impacts.
- Provide ongoing consultation to development teams and product owners regarding application enhancements.
- Manage and coordinate simultaneous project deliverables across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Analyze current and future state workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement.
What you bring.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 10 years of total professional experience, with at least 7 years specifically in Business Analysis.
- Strong domain expertise in Investment Management or Capital Markets.
- Proven experience working within Agile, Lean, or Kanban software development frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, Jira, Tableau, and diagramming tools like Lucid.
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex data querying, mapping, and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate decision-making and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model with a 2pm-11pm IST shift and 3 days per week in the Mumbai office.
