About the role.
The Project Engineer MEP will support the execution of mechanical, electrical and plumbing works on an aviation infrastructure project based in Ahmedabad. The role sits at the site level, coordinating work fronts, tracking progress and ensuring installations meet aviation construction standards. You will work closely with contractors, design teams and stakeholders to deliver the project safely, on time and to specification.
What you will do.
- Supervise MEP construction activities on site and manage daily work fronts to meet programme milestones.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status and performance reports for management and stakeholders.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and contractors to resolve interface issues and avoid delays.
- Oversee testing, commissioning and handover activities for MEP systems.
- Monitor quality assurance and compliance with ICAO, DGCA and aviation construction standards.
- Identify technical risks early and propose practical solutions to keep the project on track.
- Review drawings and site installations using AutoCAD and Civil 3D to verify conformance with design intent.
- Maintain documentation, inspection records and handover packages in line with project requirements.
What you bring.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in MEP construction supervision, preferably on airports or other aviation infrastructure projects.
- Working knowledge of ICAO, DGCA and aviation construction standards.
- Hands-on experience with site execution, progress monitoring and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MS Office.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Good technical problem-solving ability and a clear focus on quality and compliance.
- Willingness to work from office in Ahmedabad.
