About the role.
The Project Engineer - Electrical (Aviation) will be responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical works on aviation infrastructure projects based in Ahmedabad. The role involves overseeing site execution, monitoring progress against plan, and ensuring that all work meets quality, safety and regulatory requirements, including ICAO, DGCA and aviation construction standards. You will act as a key link between site teams, contractors and stakeholders, helping to drive projects through testing, commissioning and handover.
What you will do.
- Supervise electrical construction activities on aviation projects, ensuring work is executed to approved designs and specifications
- Manage site execution and work-front planning to keep activities on schedule and resources effectively deployed
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular progress reports for project management and stakeholders
- Oversee testing, commissioning and handover of electrical systems in line with project requirements
- Monitor quality assurance and compliance with ICAO, DGCA and aviation construction standards
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and contractors to resolve interface issues and maintain alignment
- Identify technical risks early and propose practical problem-solving measures
- Review drawings and layouts using AutoCAD and Civil 3D and validate site conformance
- Maintain accurate project documentation, records and reporting using MS Office tools
What you bring.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Proven experience in electrical construction supervision, preferably on aviation or large infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of ICAO, DGCA and aviation construction standards
- Hands-on experience in site execution, progress monitoring and work-front management
- Experience in testing, commissioning and handover of electrical installations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MS Office
- Strong stakeholder management and multidisciplinary coordination skills
- Solid technical problem-solving ability and risk identification mindset
- Willingness to work from office in Ahmedabad
