About the role.

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Data Engineer to join our client's data engineering team in Bengaluru. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing robust data pipelines and warehousing solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring data integrity and performance while supporting complex financial data initiatives.

What you will do.

  • Design and implement scalable data warehousing solutions using Snowflake.
  • Develop and maintain efficient ETL/ELT pipelines to support data integration.
  • Perform advanced SQL development for complex data transformation and analysis.
  • Execute data modeling and database design to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Conduct performance tuning of Snowflake environments to ensure optimal query execution.
  • Manage end-to-end data migration projects with a focus on accuracy.
  • Perform rigorous data validation and reconciliation to ensure high data quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical data solutions.

What you bring.

  • 5–7 years of professional experience in data engineering and warehousing.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Snowflake development and architecture.
  • Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries.
  • Proven experience in ETL/ELT development and data modeling.
  • Strong understanding of database design principles and data migration strategies.
  • Experience with data validation and reconciliation processes.
  • Preferred: Proficiency in Python for data automation.
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, and CloudWatch.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Airflow for workflow orchestration.
