About the role.
We are seeking an experienced P&C Claims professional to join a dynamic team in Pune. In this Work From Office role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of property and casualty claims from first notice to resolution. This involves ensuring timely and accurate processing while adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies, contributing significantly to client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
What you will do.
- Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate property and casualty claims, including complex cases
- Communicate effectively with policyholders, agents, and third parties throughout the claims process
- Document all claim activities and decisions accurately and thoroughly in the claims system
- Collaborate with legal counsel and other internal departments as needed for claim resolution
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations and company policies
- Manage a caseload efficiently and effectively to meet service level agreements
What you bring.
- 5-10 years of experience in P&C claims handling
- Strong understanding of P&C insurance products and claims processes
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
