About the role.

The MIS Reporting Associate will play a critical role in managing and delivering accurate management information systems and reporting solutions. This position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, streamline reporting processes, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. The role is based in Mumbai and operates on a hybrid work model.

What you will do.

  • Develop and maintain automated MIS reports to support business operations and management requirements.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all financial and operational data reporting.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define reporting needs and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from various source systems.
  • Prepare periodic dashboards and presentations for senior leadership review.
  • Maintain documentation for reporting procedures and ensure compliance with internal data governance policies.
  • Participate in system enhancement projects and user acceptance testing for new reporting tools.

What you bring.

  • 5–8 years of professional experience in MIS reporting or data analysis within the financial services sector.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and VBA/macros.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
