About the role.
This role involves leading the Equity Financing and Stock Loan operations within a dynamic middle-office environment. You will be responsible for overseeing complex securities lending activities, managing risk, and ensuring regulatory compliance while driving workflow automation and process improvements. The position requires a strategic leader capable of managing key stakeholder relationships and leveraging data-driven insights to optimize business performance.
What you will do.
- Lead and oversee end-to-end Equity Financing and Stock Loan middle-office operations.
- Manage complex securities lending portfolios while ensuring strict adherence to risk management frameworks.
- Ensure full compliance with global regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Drive the implementation of workflow automation to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Utilize data visualization and business intelligence tools to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Manage and cultivate relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the integration and utilization of industry platforms such as EquiLend and Pirum.
- Mentor and develop team members to foster a culture of operational excellence.
What you bring.
- 12–18 years of experience in Equity Financing, Stock Loan, or Prime Brokerage operations.
- Deep expertise in middle-office operations and securities lending market practices.
- Strong background in risk management and regulatory compliance within the banking sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools including EquiLend and Pirum.
- Proven experience in driving workflow automation and utilizing business intelligence tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at a senior level.
- Professional certifications such as CFA or FRM are highly preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into strategic business decisions.
