About the role.

This leadership role oversees the end-to-end OTC confirmation process, focusing on governance, risk mitigation, and large-scale automation. The successful candidate will drive strategic transformation projects, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and implement AI-based frameworks to optimize trade life cycle operations.

What you will do.

  • Establish and maintain a robust governance framework across OTC confirmation pods including drafting, affirmation, chasing, and execution.
  • Lead drafting automation strategies by identifying migration opportunities and coordinating IT enhancements.
  • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance standards including ISDA, EMIR, and CFTC requirements.
  • Monitor drafting quality and economic term accuracy to minimize break rates and operational risk.
  • Liaise with Legal, Front Office, and Sales teams to negotiate templates and resolve complex confirmation issues.
  • Translate operational data into actionable business insights using advanced analytics and visualization tools.
  • Manage capacity planning and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the department.
  • Lead firm-wide transformation projects to enhance operational efficiency and control environments.

What you bring.

  • 15–22 years of relevant industry experience with deep expertise in OTC confirmation drafting.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end trade life cycle, settlements, and cash management operations.
  • Proven experience in leveraging Alteryx, Power BI, Robotics, and Machine Learning for process automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans and manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
  • Expertise in building and managing AI-based frameworks to drive operational efficiency.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into metrics for senior management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to demonstrate executive presence in high-pressure environments.
  • Proactive approach to risk management, audit compliance, and regulatory reporting.
