About the role.
This role is based in Mumbai and sits within the Global Markets Equities business management team. You will partner with senior leadership across Trading, Sales, and Research to drive strategic business initiatives, platform development, and franchise growth. The position requires a blend of financial acumen, project management, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.
What you will do.
- Drive strategic initiatives in collaboration with Product and Sales Desk Heads using data-backed insights.
- Conduct strategic assessments of business performance using advanced client analytics.
- Prepare high-level management presentations for board meetings, investor days, and town halls.
- Participate in annual sales budgeting exercises and revenue forecasting processes.
- Lead end-to-end implementation of platform buildout projects for the Equities business.
- Collaborate with Treasury and Finance to optimize funding and financial resource allocation.
- Manage new product rollout governance and project lifecycles independently.
- Oversee day-to-day operational issues across Compliance, Legal, Middle Office, and IT functions.
- Manage audit points, regulatory responses, and business continuity planning.
- Execute expense tracking and management to ensure fiscal discipline.
What you bring.
- MBA from a Tier 1 business school, CA, or a Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics from a top-tier institute.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in financial services or capital markets.
- Strong knowledge of Capital Market products and asset classes, with a focus on Equity Products.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a self-starter approach to business challenges.
