About the role.
This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing sophisticated software solutions that integrate advanced AI capabilities into business and technology platforms. You will act as a subject matter expert, guiding technical direction and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality engineering outcomes. The position requires a blend of deep technical expertise and strategic thinking to solve complex problems and drive innovation within the organization.
What you will do.
- Design and deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to define requirements and devise effective solution strategies.
- Lead technical decision-making and provide guidance on technology selection and implementation approaches.
- Implement effective unit testing and secure coding practices to ensure code reliability, performance, and data protection.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and promote a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence.
- Advise senior stakeholders on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and strategic alignment.
- Manage and mitigate technical risks through rigorous assessment and adherence to governance agendas.
- Drive continuous improvement in software quality, delivery efficiency, and the adoption of emerging technologies.
What you bring.
- 5–12 years of experience in software engineering within complex enterprise environments.
- Strong proficiency in back-end development using Java and Spring Boot.
- Proven experience in designing and building REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Solid understanding of database technologies including SQL and NoSQL (e.g., Oracle, MongoDB).
- Experience with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools like Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Hands-on experience with AI models and rapid application development tools.
- Strong knowledge of event-streaming technologies such as Kafka.
- Computer Science degree or equivalent professional experience in object-oriented design and data structures.
