About the role.
The role focuses on ensuring electrical installations on aviation projects meet approved designs, specifications and regulatory requirements. You will lead quality assurance and quality control activities, from drawing and document review through inspection, testing and commissioning. The position is based in Ahmedabad and works closely with engineering, construction and client teams.
What you will do.
- Implement and manage quality assurance and quality control processes for electrical works on aviation projects.
- Review drawings, specifications and quality documentation for compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare, review and maintain Quality Plans, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and method statements.
- Carry out material inspection and workmanship verification at site, and oversee inspection, testing and commissioning activities.
- Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and drive timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate quality records, reports and documentation in line with ISO 9001 requirements.
- Ensure compliance with DGCA, ICAO and applicable engineering standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to resolve quality issues effectively.
What you bring.
- 5-10 years of experience in electrical quality assurance and quality control, preferably on aviation or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC management, inspection, testing and commissioning practices.
- Hands-on experience with ITPs, method statements, quality plans and NCR management.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and DGCA, ICAO and applicable engineering standards.
- Good documentation, reporting and record-management skills.
- Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work from office in Ahmedabad and coordinate effectively with stakeholders.
