About the role.
As a Senior ServiceNow Software Engineer, you will spearhead the evolution of our platform capabilities, driving innovation and operational excellence. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions while ensuring seamless integration and alignment with complex business objectives. This role requires a strategic mindset to influence decision-making and lead technical initiatives within a high-stakes, regulated environment.
What you will do.
- Design and deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions using industry-aligned frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to define requirements and devise effective solution strategies.
- Lead complex technical assignments and guide team members through structured project lifecycles.
- Ensure adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive enterprise data.
- Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure code reliability and performance optimization.
- Consult on complex technical issues and provide expert advice to support the resolution of escalated challenges.
- Identify opportunities to mitigate risk and develop new policies to support the governance agenda.
- Engage in complex data analysis from multiple sources to solve problems creatively and effectively.
What you bring.
- 8–16 years of professional experience in software engineering within an enterprise regulated industry.
- Deep expertise in the ServiceNow platform, including CSDM model, platform upgrades, and security models.
- Proven ability to manage API integrations and complex data models.
- Active CSA and CAD certifications with the ability to lead functionality development independently.
- Experience with the CSM module in a Financial Services Operations (FSO) context.
- Proficiency in working with AI models and modern development tools such as GitLab Duo and Claude Code.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and coach team members.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical information for diverse audiences.
