About the role.
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Automation Test Engineer to join a dynamic team in Bengaluru. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of mobile applications, specifically focusing on connectivity testing for IoT devices. You will work within an Agile framework to design, implement, and execute comprehensive test strategies for both Android and iOS platforms.
What you will do.
- Review requirement specifications for consistency and testability to create detailed test cases.
- Design, prepare, and implement functional and non-functional system-level tests including performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Appium.
- Execute mobile application testing across both Android and iOS platforms.
- Perform specialized connectivity testing for IoT devices via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi protocols.
- Document test results and manage defect tracking through Jira, ALM, and Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Analyze and report on system performance and environmental test outcomes.
What you bring.
- 4–8 years of professional experience in mobile automation testing.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Python for test scripting.
- Hands-on experience with UI test frameworks such as Appium and Selenium.
- Proven experience in testing Android and iOS mobile applications.
- Familiarity with IoT device connectivity testing, specifically Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
- Experience working with defect management tools like Jira, ALM, and Azure DevOps.
- Prior experience in the healthcare domain is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles.
