About the role.
We are looking for an experienced iOS Developer to design, build and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS. The role involves owning features end to end, from architecture and UI implementation through testing and release, while working closely with designers, product and QA teams in an Agile environment. This is a hybrid position based in Bengaluru.
What you will do.
- Develop and maintain mobile applications using Swift and the iOS SDK.
- Design scalable iOS application architecture and implement modular, maintainable code.
- Build user interfaces that adhere to Apple Human Interface Guidelines and sound UI/UX principles.
- Integrate iOS frameworks and APIs such as Foundation, UIKit and Cocoa Touch, including location services, storage and SQLite.
- Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Manage source code using Git and participate in code reviews.
- Use Xcode and continuous integration pipelines to streamline builds and releases.
- Track defects and tasks using tools such as Jira, TFS and Bugzilla, and collaborate in Agile ceremonies.
- Take ownership of deliverables and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
What you bring.
- 4-8 years of hands-on experience in iOS app development using Swift.
- Strong command of iOS architecture and proficiency with the Xcode IDE.
- In-depth knowledge of iOS frameworks and APIs including Foundation, UIKit and Cocoa Touch.
- Experience with UI/UX design and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
- Familiarity with iOS 10 and newer versions, including intents, widgets, content providers, touch handling and drawing.
- Proficiency in Git and experience with bug tracking, continuous integration and productivity tools such as TFS, Bugzilla or Jira.
- Prior experience working in Agile software development methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good communication and teamwork abilities.
- BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA or equivalent qualification.
