About the role.
This role focuses on the evaluation and assessment of IT Application Controls (ITAC) to ensure the integrity of critical banking systems. You will play a pivotal role in identifying technical risks and strengthening internal governance frameworks. The position is based in Chennai and operates on a hybrid work model.
What you will do.
- Conduct comprehensive IT Audit assessments with a primary focus on IT Application Controls (ITAC).
- Evaluate existing risk, control, and governance structures to ensure alignment with organizational standards.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify control gaps and provide actionable recommendations for remediation.
- Perform technical audit procedures to verify the effectiveness of system controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve IT compliance and risk mitigation strategies.
- Utilize data analytics to support audit findings and reporting processes.
What you bring.
- 4–8 years of professional experience in IT audit or IT compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and reporting.
- Solid understanding of Risk, Control, and Governance frameworks.
- Foundational programming knowledge in C, C++, Java, or COBOL.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience with data automation and analytics tools such as Python or Alteryx is highly desirable.
- Relevant professional certifications in auditing or information systems are preferred.
