About the role.
This role sits within the Shared Services division, focusing on the end-to-end management of asset transfers and payment operations. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of settlement processes while maintaining strict adherence to global regulatory standards.
What you will do.
- Manage and execute complex asset transfer processes within the shared services framework.
- Oversee payment operations and ensure the accurate processing of SWIFT messaging.
- Maintain and update Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs) to ensure seamless transaction flows.
- Perform rigorous AML and sanctions screening to mitigate operational and compliance risks.
- Support cash management activities to ensure liquidity and operational stability.
- Utilize data tools to streamline reporting and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve settlement discrepancies and process bottlenecks.
What you bring.
- 1–4 years of experience in financial services operations, specifically within payment or asset transfer functions.
- Proficiency in SWIFT messaging and management of Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs).
- Strong understanding of AML and sanctions screening protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Avaloq or similar core banking platforms.
- Advanced technical skills including MS Excel (Macros), Alteryx, and Python.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment based in Mumbai.
