About the role.
The Technical Internal Auditor will play a critical role in evaluating the effectiveness of technology-driven controls and trading systems. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive risk assessments and providing actionable insights to senior management. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency and audit expertise to ensure compliance with global regulatory standards.
What you will do.
- Execute technical internal audits focusing on trading systems and IT infrastructure.
- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT General Controls.
- Perform data analysis to identify anomalies and potential risk areas within financial systems.
- Leverage artificial intelligence tools and prompt engineering to enhance audit efficiency.
- Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView for risk reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage audit projects from planning to completion.
- Provide recommendations to mitigate risks and improve technical control environments.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements across US, Europe, and Asia markets.
What you bring.
- 5–8 years of experience in technical internal audit or IT risk management.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
- Hands-on experience with Python for data manipulation and audit automation.
- Deep understanding of IT General Controls and trading system architectures.
- CISA certification is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to apply artificial intelligence and prompt engineering in a professional setting.
- Solid knowledge of regulatory frameworks in US, Europe, and Asia.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple audit engagements.
