About the role.
The Manager – Packaging Development will lead the end-to-end packaging lifecycle, ensuring that all solutions meet rigorous quality, safety, and regulatory standards. This role is pivotal in optimizing packaging processes, managing vendor relationships, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency.
What you will do.
- Lead the design and development of innovative packaging solutions for chemical products.
- Utilize CAD and SolidWorks to create precise packaging designs and technical drawings.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent packaging quality.
- Manage the end-to-end vendor validation process to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Oversee project management activities to ensure packaging initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with supply chain and quality assurance teams to optimize packaging workflows.
- Ensure all packaging materials and processes adhere to relevant regulatory affairs and safety guidelines.
- Conduct regular quality control audits to maintain high standards of product integrity.
What you bring.
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in packaging development within the chemical or manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in CAD software and SolidWorks for technical design.
- Strong understanding of SOP development and quality assurance protocols.
- Demonstrated ability in vendor management and supply chain optimization.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory affairs related to chemical packaging.
- Excellent project management skills with a focus on process improvement.
- Ability to work effectively in a full-time, on-site environment in Boisar.
