About the role.
This role is for an experienced Project Manager to join the Front Office Risk team. You will be responsible for overseeing critical projects related to risk management within the front office operations. The position requires a strong understanding of financial products and risk frameworks, coupled with excellent project management capabilities.
What you will do.
- Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle for Front Office Risk initiatives
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Manage vendor relationships and external dependencies as needed
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies
What you bring.
- 10–13 years of experience in project management within the financial services industry
- Proven experience managing projects related to Front Office Risk, market risk, or credit risk
- Strong understanding of financial products, trading workflows, and risk management concepts
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field
